Frisco Area Information

Frisco is a one-mile radius town that is easy to walk around. A bustling Main Street with many shops and restaurants, a large historic district, parks and recreation add to this community’s local appeal. Frisco is bordered by Lake Dillon, the Arapahoe Forest and adjacent to I-70. There is plenty of activity in the town, and it’s also a great access point to the ski resorts of Summit and even Eagle County, including: Copper Mountain, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Keystone Resort , Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Loveland Ski Area, Vail and Beaver Creek.

Mountain Living in Frisco

Frisco is the Main Street to the Rockies. It’s not only home to the Frisco Historic Park and Museum, the Frisco Bay Marina, a multitude of recreation pathways and one of the best Nordic Centers in the area, but is located right at the center of Summit County allowing it to be a trailhead to fun throughout the area and beyond. The town also has many bars and restaurants to choose from and a line-up of annual signature events not to miss.

Skiing & Snowboarding Access from Frisco

Located directly off of I-70, Frisco is the perfect launching point for skiing and snowboarding in the Colorado Rockies. As a bedroom community for Copper Mountain, Frisco is closest to this resort just a few miles west of town. Other resorts which are easy to access include, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Keystone Resort, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Loveland Ski Area http://www.skiloveland.com/, Vail and Beaver Creek.

Golfing Access from Frisco

Copper Mountain offers a relaxed, casual golf experience at the highest championship golf course in North America, Copper Creek. A mix of links and mountain style holes accommodate the novice golfer from the forward tees and while giving a good test to the accomplished golfer.

This course is consistently named as one of the top mountain golf courses in Colorado. Challenging, yet playable, The Raven is routed through towering pines, quaking aspens, creeks and lakes and all in a dramatic mountain setting surrounded by massive snow-capped peaks.
The Town of Breckenridge boasts the only Jack Nicklaus-designed 27 hole Golf Club Golf Club – featuring the Elk, Beaver and Bear Nines. Pleasant summer temperatures and lots of sunshine make the Breckenridge Golf Course the perfect place to play in the mountains.
